We built our first pen in 1997. From there the feedlot has grown from 35 head to 1000 head.
The first pens were built with wood and in the fall of 2007 the first drill stem pen was built to hold 300 head.
We have custom fed in the past with great success. This year we are feeding a large group of our own calves as well as a group of calves that we bought. Typically we buy in 530 lb British steers and 550 lb Black and Red Angus heifers for replacements.
